Panache Dance studio is the well established dance school located in the heart of Blackwood. Offering dance tuition in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and our well renowned Kinderdance and Baby Bopper program. Offering a fully outfitted studio to ensure the safest environment for our students.
The Kay Cranwell School of Ballet operated in the Blackwood area for well over 30 years. During this time the school continually grew, with the emphasis on quality ballet training. The initial directors of Panache Dance Studio, Denise Fisher & Ann Tannebring, were students, then teachers of the original school. In 1985 a partnership was developed between them and the name was changed to Panache. After a successful 20 years the partnership was dissolved and Panache was solely directed by Denise, assisted by an expert staff. In 2015 Danielle took over directorship of the school from her late Mother Denise. Panache is a very successful dance school aimed at fulfilling the needs of children and adults alike from Blackwood and further afield.
Cecchetti Ballet Australia, of which Panache is a member, was founded in London to perpetuate the memory of, and continue the teaching method of, Maestro Enrico Cecchetti. The method is renowned world wide for its beauty of line, beautiful port de bras (arm movements) and the comprehensive study of the classical vocabulary.
